In Loving Memory of Guino
(Lord Guinness of Firth Park)

Lord Guinness of Firth Park that was his Pedigree name
He was then named Guino, life would never be the same
Guino was a little pup a black Labrador so full of fun
He was full of fun and frolics his life had just begun
He had a liking for kit kats and he liked his squeaky toy
For Lisa and Steve he was like a child a very good boy
Guino went to Lisa’s Mum’s, Granny Angie for Sunday Lunch
If he fancied something sweet on a kit kat Guino would crunch
He liked to wander around the garden and chase a cat or two
Guino would always be faithful he would run right up to you
Sometimes he went mental and round and round he’d run
Guino never wined or winged he was as soft as they come
He used to visit uncle Kev, who would spoil him with a treat
Guino was quite partial for something nice to eat
Guino died aged thirteen years, his memory still lives on
He will be so sadly missed, now that he has gone
Memories of this wonderful dog will go on forever more
Guino has moved on to pastures new, God has opened the door

This is an example of a special Ruby wedding anniversary for a mum and dad
Now is the time to celebrate your lives
As your Ruby wedding day arrives
Savour each moment, reflect on the past
Memories shared that forever last

Congratulations and love we send your way
A story of love on your special day
A love that has lasted throughout the years
Sharing the laughter along with the tears

Forty years ago, you were married today
May your dreams be fulfilled in every way
A wonderful day for a couple so complete
To be part of your lives is such a treat

Look back on this day and always recall
Mum and Dad you are the best of all
You’re respected and loved, we cherish you
Thank you for everything that you do

When this magical day is over and done
We wish you many more years to come
In our hearts and souls you will always stay
Mum and Dad, Happy Ruby Wedding Day

This is an example of a Diamond wedding anniversary poem

Happy Diamond Wedding Day

This is a love story so divine
About you lovely parents of mine
A story that goes back a long time ago
A trip that took you a lifetime to show

Many a couple don’t last half as long
Mum and dad you will always belong
Following the course destined from above
You were only young and you fell in love

You married and had us children three
My brother and sister and of course me
We had years of love as we grew up
My dear mum and dad you deserve a cup

Now it’s the time to celebrate your lives
As your diamond wedding now arrives
The years they may have taken their toll
You are both here and have reached this goal!

Many more years are wished for you
We worship everything you both do
The story unfolds from years back then
Today you will look back at it all again

We love you to bits, our love from within
Love and best wishes from all your kin
Your thoughts and lives are here to stay
Happy Diamond Wedding Day!

Congratulations xxx
